Thanks also to the many of you who shared hospitality and invited me to be part of significant moments in your lives.

Thanks to my amazing learning cohort at Fuller Seminary, especially our small group: Lila Balisky, Sue Whittaker and Megan Myers. Thanks to my family, both my children were married during the research period – they and their spouses have been a wonderful support. Thanks to Cassius and Zeus for distracting me with lego. 

Thanks to the medical doctors and health workers who battled to cure my husband of lung cancer. Your expert care and the faithful prayers of many from around the world have been the greatest blessing anyone could receive. Chapter 3 is all yours, it was written in my husband’s hospital room, thank you! 

And my beloved Terry – you continue to be the revelation of God’s love in my life. You are the song God keeps blessing me with. Keep singing.
